HONORARY VISIONARY

(Former FCILP Board of Directors)

_

Keith C, Beatty, Sr

Keith C, Beatty, Sr., guided me towards Christ and supported my vision for Fostering Champions, therefore, I will be forever grateful for his sacrificial lifestyle, encouragement, connection to everyone (he never met a stranger) and constant motivation to help others. His words of life kept me on track despite his health failing him the past couple of years. After his recent passing (March 2023), I needed to include his profile to ensure the world knows his influence, even after he transitioned to show his legacy continues to flourish.

Keith joined the Air Force as a First-Class Airman receiving Honorable Discharge in 1972. In his early career, he worked at William Penn Senior High School in York Pennsylvania. Keith poured into ministry and the youth, which led him to launch Mission Home for Christ and later Mission Home Ministries. In this entrepreneurial role, he was able to impact the lives of hundreds, if not thousands of people. He shared his visions with many people regarding developing youth and encouraged everyone in their visions. If you didn’t have a vision, he would help you to get one! His love and tenacity earned him a plethora of accolades and awards, including Great American Family Community Award presented by First Lady Nancy Reagan at the White House, Citation by The House of Representatives, Tribute from the Senate of Pennsylvania, Role Model for Young people in 1991 & 1997, York Community-Based Program of the Year Award, Service to Mankind Award, and the Spirit of York Award to name a few. Keith pursued and received certification in Marriage and Family Therapy, a Doctrine in Humanities, and a Foster Care License.

In 2004, he and his family moved to Arizona and served as the Apostle at Heart of Promises Ministries. Whether he was on the east or west coast, Keith always had a passion for giving back to his community with a special focus on helping youth. He had a way of inspiring people to believe in themselves and to see the vision God had for their lives. He will always be known to spread the Good News and love of Jesus Christ with all whom he encountered.

FCILP has chosen to name the Champion Award Fund in Honor of Keith C. Beatty.
